Sign Up for Community Cleanup Day

Join the WBNA Community Cleanup

As we emerge from another long, pandemic winter, we can all use a little lift, a little brightening up and so can our neighborhood.

Join us on Saturday, April 23 for a neighborhood-wide day of cleaning, care, and celebration. We invite you to form a team with your co-workers and colleagues, your neighbors, your students, your friends to gather as a community and show your love by cleaning up from highway to highway and everything in between!

“Teams” can be two people or 20+ and each can find their own ways of making the day fun, from playing music and having a cleaning-dance-party, to dressing up in costumes or matching shirts, to giving out prizes for the most trash collected. For residents this is a great way to meet and bond with your neighbors while working together, and for businesses and organizations it’s an opportunity to demonstrate your care and connection to our local community.

Stop by WBNA headquarters starting at 8:30am to pick up cleaning supplies and then come to Major Park (on Ellery Street) starting at 12:30pm for a free thank you barbecue and celebration of the new improvements to the park spearheaded by Councilor Rachel Miller.
